Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping
EFT operates on the premise that there are unresolved
emotional issues either causing or contributing to any issue. We say they are
unresolved because any negative experiences can be stored in the body and continue affecting how we handle new experiences until resolved. In other words: There is a body/mind connection. (The central nervous system is evidence of this).

“The cause of all negative emotion is a disruption in the flow of
information and energy in the body/mind system.”
About EFT and how it works
EFT/tapping is a form of psychological acupressure, This technique was developed in the 1990s by Gary Craig, drawing on principles from Chinese medicine and modern psychology.

In Chinese medicine, it's believed that the body has a system of energy pathways called meridians through which life energy, or qi, flows. When this energy flow is disrupted or blocked, it can lead to physical or emotional discomfort. Acupressure and acupuncture aim to restore the balance of energy flow by stimulating specific points along these meridians.

EFT tapping is an Exposure therapy with Somatic and Cognitive components. It involves gently tapping with the fingertips on specific meridian points while focusing on a particular issue or problem, such as anxiety, pain, trauma, or cravings. The basic tapping points include the top of the head, eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, chin, collarbone, and arm.
